As a Senior Professional in Fashion Retail Sales & Operations, with two decades of experience in Spanish corporations like Tendam (formerly Cortefiel Group) and Pronovias Group (leaders of Spanish fashion retail) I have been designing winning business growth initiatives, enhanced revenue streams and elevated store productivity while prioritizing unparalleled customer experience.

I believe business optimization can transform any company into an effective and profit bringing organization. When working with renowned brands like Women Secret, Springfield and Pronovias I have been doing an inhouse consulting for company´s franchise and wholesale partners in finding growth levers. A deep knowledge of the diverse universe of sales distribution channels (corporate business, franchise & wholesale models, as well as ecommerce) has made me an all-encompassing industry expert. This is the reason why I decided to found Vega Retail, with "Vega" meaning one of the most brilliant stars in the modern sky, and focus my efforts on helping small and medium-sized brands grow and make it shine.

HOW TO SAVE SALES TEAMS 37% OF THEIR IN-STORE TIME

CASE 1
In 2020 I initiated and delivered a project called LESS IS MORE in Pronovias that consisted of internal audit and diagnostics of retail department processes and their optimization. The processes that were not efficient or not bringing results were enhanced through new technology implementation, eliminated from the operational activity or optimized. As an example, the replenishment workflow was revisited completely, meanwhile communication flow with the stores was restructured, strictly planned and rescheduled.
As a result, the company has managed to reduce time spent by sales staff on reporting and other administrative tasks by 37% and instead gave them this time back to spend on the sales floor. For this project I have gone through all key stages: analysis, planning, implementation and follow-up during the first year. The main challenges as team resistance and enthusiasm were managed by me through an active listening, critical thinking, strategical mindset, empathy and high organizational skills.
One of the greatest achievements that makes me proud is when we managed to rescue an operating business of 16 stores; therefore saving the company a revenue stream of 15 mlllion euros.
For this project I have led a team of professionals and we have performed a number of critical actions to ensure a quick turnaround could be achieved and a comprehensive rescue plan is implemented fast:

— product & pricing offer deep dive;
— store operations 360 evaluation.

Based on the rescue plan we have changed the product buy structure and replenishment system, optimized some stores´ size and changed store layout, changed team structure to make it more motivated and effective, trained the team on product knowledge and customer excellence, improved the sales follow up and sales monitoring system amongst other necessary actions. As a result of this professional and timely work the stores are still operating today and even more, new ones were opened at a later stage.
